Your Systems Need Someone Watching
I learned this the hard way running my grocery business for twelve years.
Systems don’t stay fixed. WordPress updates. Plugins need security patches. Things break at 2am on Saturday.
You need someone who responds before your clients notice something’s wrong.
What Maintenance Actually Covers
Security & Updates
WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates applied weekly. Security monitoring. Backup verification. Spam protection.
Performance Monitoring
Site speed checks. Uptime monitoring. Database optimization. Cache management.
Technical Support
Bug fixes. Troubleshooting. “This used to work and now it doesn’t” detective work. Quick fixes for urgent issues.
Priority Response
Your requests go to the front of my queue. Emergency issues handled same-day (Melbourne business hours).

What’s NOT Included
Support hours don’t cover:
- Major new features (quoted separately)
- Content updates (you can do these yourself)
- Third-party service issues (though I’ll help troubleshoot)
- Training new staff (initial training included in build)
Unused hours don’t roll over. If you consistently need more than your plan includes, we’ll adjust.
Launch Special
Sign up for maintenance when your site launches: Get 2 months free.
This gives you 8-10 weeks of coverage while you’re getting established. After that, billing begins at your chosen tier.
The Reality
I work 15 hours a week. I can’t take unlimited support clients.
Current capacity
12 clients maximum
Once I hit that number, new clients join a waitlist until a spot opens (usually when someone’s business grows and they hire in-house).
How to Sign Up
Already Working With Me?
Choose your plan during project onboarding. We’ll discuss which tier makes sense for your practice.
What to include in your email:
- Your website URL
- Current hosting/access details
- What’s breaking (if anything)
- What keeps you up at night
I’ll review and let you know if I can take you on.
Common Questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. 30 days notice required. I’ll help transition to another developer if needed.
What if I need more hours?
We can upgrade your plan or quote additional work separately. I’m flexible.
What happens in an emergency?
Define “emergency.” Site completely down? I’m on it within hours (Melbourne time). Typo on your contact page? That can wait until Monday.
Do you work weekends?
No. Emergency coverage is during Melbourne business hours (Mon-Fri, 10am-1pm AEST primarily, but I check in outside those hours for urgent issues). If your site breaks Saturday night, I’ll see it Sunday morning my time.
What if you’re sick or on holiday?
I have backup contractors I trust. Critical issues get handled. Non-urgent work waits until I’m back.
